Fake Sangoma displays money he crooked from
innocent victims
Dzhatsha Films crew are out in the streets of
tshakhuma shooting Mathaithai Episode 2, a movie expected to take African movie
industry by a huge surprice.
According
to the the Executive Producer of Dzhatsha Films, Tshidino "Chidino" Ndou,
Mathaithai 2 is planned to hit the shelves by the end of June
2008.
"We don't want to prove a point
but viewers can expect a big surprise." Chidino added. Mathaithai movie centers
around today's social life.

Dzhatsha Films discovered two aspiring actors. Their debut movie is
Mathaithai Episode 2 which is expected to take Tshivenda movie viewers by storm.
According to the Executive producer of Dzhatsha Films tshidino "Chidino"
Ndou, Elijar Sivhugwana who comes from Nzhelele-Tshivhiludulu and Vho-Virginia
Tshivhase who hails from Tshilungoma are very impressive and will go
places.
Elijah plays the role of Fake Sangoma on Mathaithai while
Vho-Virginia takes the role of Vho-Ravheka (Vho-Mathaithai's
wife)
I wonder if there could be anybody that plays the role of Fake Sangoma
more than what Elijar does. He is so amazing. What makes him outstanding is
his quick listening skill which will take him far.
Vho-Ravheka was in troduced to Mathaithai 2 as a stand-in character when
Vho-Enzhelina, a role played by Khaukanani Muruge could not be available due to
her pregnancy.
Chidino Films wanted to change the storyline to accomodate Khaukanani's
pregnancy but Khau said she would rather miss the shoot.
MBONISENI MUVHUSO IS BACK ON TV SCREEN

Mboniseni Muvhuso, better known as Maele on "Maele wa Vho-Thinatshanga" stage
drama makes comeback to the small screen after taking a very long
break.
Mboniseni said acting is in his blood and is happy to be called back to the
small screen.
PHALAPHALA FM ACTOR TURNS A FILM STAR

Ntshavheni Alfred Matsego, who is known by his radio drama followers as
"Vhafunzi" will be seen on tv potraying the role of Mashesha on Mathaithai
Episode 2.
Mashesha is a zulu character which Ntshavheni plays so well. "I would
like to thank Dzhatsha Films for giving me this opportunity to showcase my
talent" Ntshavheni said in his own words.

Khaukanani "Khau"
Muruge aka Vho-Enzhelina will miss the shooting of Mathaithai 2 as she is
expecting a baby. "I tried to beg the executive producer of Dzhatsha Films,
Chidino Ndou to wait until I give birth and he told me about the urgency of the
project." Khau said.
Khau is a very
talented actress and her presence will be missed." Tshidino "Chidino" Ndou said.
Chidino assured viewers that Khau's
character, Vho-Enzhelina will not be replaced. Instead, a new character called
Vho-Ravheka has been introduced to play with Mr. mathaithai.
Khaukanani also appeared on Hu Do
Dzula Nnyi as an extra and Hu Bvuma Na Fhasi as Vho-Enzhelina.
Dzhatsha Films team would like to
congradulate her on being pregnant.

2007. According to the
Executive Producer of Dzhatsha Films Tshidino “Chidino” Ndou, the making of
the final series, TAXI 2 was a remarkable experience.
Ndanduleni said it was a golden opportunity to expand their
knowledge. Arthur said appreciation should go to Lucky
Ndlovu, a researcher at Red pepper productions who made it possible for Dzhatsha Films crew to get involved in the South Africa
favorite television show. Dzhatsha Films have already
presented four films such as Hu Bvuma Na Fhasi, Mathaithai, Hu do dzula nnyi and Mphempe i a netisa.

LIVES HIS DREAMS

 Philip Takalani, better known as Funyufunyu, a name he adopted
after playing the role of Funyufunyu in the Mathaithai movie is making waves in
the entertainment industry and is taking South Africa by storm. “We have to
show the world that there is talent in Venda.” Funyufunyu said. Funyufunyu added
that he is currently shooting a comedy movie about his visit to Soweto that will
be released soon. “I praise Chidino Ndou, the executive producer of Dzhatsha
Films who spotted and developed my talent.” Funyufunyu stated. Funyufunyu
also indicated that is still shocked by the sudden death of Nditsheni Mafuna who
played the role of a thug on Mathaithai Part 1. Nditsheni passed on in 2007 from
a car accident. According to Funyufunyu, Nditsheni had a lot to offer as he was
also involved in many Dzhatsha projects. He also participated in most of the
Dzhatsha dance projects. May his spirit rest in peace!
THE YOUNGEST MOVIE ACTOR DOES IT OUT OF LOVE

Ronewa Ndou who plays the role of Rone on Mathaithai 1 & 2 admitted that
it is difficult to act while schooling at the same time.
He remembers missing two days while shooting Mathaithai 2. "I asked for
permission from my class teacher who gathered assignments for me while
I was away. Acting is in my blood and cannot be taken away from me.

If you thought Nthuseni Tshirushi(mathaithai) from Hadumasi village in Venda
and Phillip Takalani(Funyufunyu) of Tshakhuma were just passing by the
movie industry you better eat your humble pie.
The perfect combination of Mathaithai and Funyufunyu shocked the producer of
Dzhatsha Films, Tshidino "Chidino" Ndou. Viewes always scream with joy at
these two comedians anytime they meet them in the streets. "We always share
jokes with our fans because we rate audience as kings. There is no us
without our fans" Takalani and Nthuseni said.
The two comedians warn viewers not to hurt their lungs while laughing at
what happen on Mathaithai 2 film.
AFRICAN MOVIES DIRECTOR FROM TSHAKHUMA

 It was like a dream come true for Arthur Mukondeleli
who has directed numerous movies and also participated in four movies
presented by Dzhatsha Films to date.
“I think more credit should be given to Tshidino "Chidino" Ndou, the
Executive Producer of Dzhatsha Films for believing in me.” Arthur said in his
own words. Arthur also plays the role of Thufingas on Mathaithai 1
& 2. Arthur was also involved in the making of the last series of SABC2,
TAXI 2 show which was aired on 27 March 2007.
The young director from Tshakhuma urges people to continue supporting
Dzhatsha Films, a trusted company that is committed to produce quality
African movies.
A YOUNG WOMAN OF MANY TALENTS
05 April 2008  Khathu is capable of playing any role in the radio or tv
drama. Give her a role of a child and she will play it like a child.
Khathu hails from Lwamondo, a place that produced great actors such
as the late Vho-Tendani Patrick Mulaudzi who was better known as Maswigiri
on radio drama and Vho-Ratshitanga on Tshivenda tv drama, Muvhango.
According to the producer of Dzhatsha Films Venda will never ever
produce a talent that will match Khathutshelo. She played the role of Dalita on
Phalaphala FM serial drama, “Nga ito la Vhadzimu” and has recently played the
role of Lukwanda on the serial drama “Ndi ya Mukumbela” which was aired towards
the end of 2007.
Khathu plays the role of a school girl on the Dzhatsha
Films movie, Mphemphe i a netisa and also the role of A street girl on
Mathaithai. At her age, Khathu has achieved most of her goals. Khathu also
dreams of acting on SABC Muvhango one day.
“Look, If I get an opportunity to participate in Muvhango I will grab it with
both hands.” Khathu added. Khathu urges other young people to believe in
themselves and do things the right way. “ I also went through numerous auditions
until Chidino discovered my talent and gave me an opportunity." Khathu
added. Khathu will be playing the role of Lufuluvhi alongside Mudzunga in
the up-coming controvertial movie about the ritual murderers,
Maviavhathungavhulawe.
WOMAN MOVIE WRITER WITH A VISION

Dzhatsha Films have yet discovered a woman script writer,
Ndanduleni Delicious Mufamadi who was born and bred at HaMashau, in the village of Bodwe in Venda.
Ndandu, as she is commonly known said she
started writing stories from the age of 15. Her movie
Mphemphe I a Netisa was recently commissioned and
released by Dzhatsha Films.
Mphemphe is about a
lazy man who leaves his work and starts begging. Ndandu also
stated that she is currently writing
Mphemphe Part 2 which is due to be released in November 2008.
“Everyone of us is born with a talent of some kind which needs to be discovered and sharpened.” Ndandu added. During her spare time
Ndandu helps young people to sharpen their writing skills. She praised Dzhatsha Films for giving her
an opportunity to showcase her writing talent.
Ndandu concluded that she would like to encourage young writer
to take their writing talent seriously.

Cynthia Elelwani's face is not new to Dzhatsha Films' followers
as she appeared in numerous stage dramas written and directed by Tshidino
"Chidino" Ndou in the 90th.
Elelwi as she is affectionately known by her fans will be taking
the role of Mudzunga on the controvetial muti killing movie to be produced by
Mangwele Television later in 2008.
IVY MAVHUNGA DISCOVERS HER
ACTING TALENT

I was excited when the producer/director of Dzhatsha Films,
Tshidino "Chidino Ndou gave me the role of "Muhuweleli" to advertise the Fake
Sangoma on Mathaithai 2.
It was exciting working with such a great director, Chidino. Ivy
hails from Nzhelele, a rural village situated in Venda. "It was for the first
time acting on camera but Chidino advised me to be myself.
"Honestly, I sometimes laughed at actors such as
Funyufunyu and Mathaithai as they are just funny." Ivy said. "As a person,
I learned few things from Mathaithai movie" She added. She also
stated that she is looking forward to take more roles.
WATCH OUT FOR BOGUS TRAFFIC COPS!

Watch out for bogus traffic cops. This is one of the few lessons viewers
should expect from Mathaithai 2.
Motorists are being warned about thugs crooking people's thousands and
thousands of rands pretending to be traffic cops.
Bogus cops can easily be spotted stopping in dark places. "I
realized that I was crooked when my friend told me that the so called
"traffic cops" were wearing takkies. You can also notice bogus cops as
they are quick to ask for a bribe.
Most people have become victims of bogus tricks. You can
learn more of these tricks by watching Mathaithai 2. The movie urges people
to talk about social issues affecting them.
HUMBELANI ON HER WAY TO FAME

Chantel Humbelani, a young girl hailing from Maniini village in Venda could
not believe what she heard when she was given a chance to prove what she said to
the producer, Tshidino "Chidino" Ndou of Dzhatsha films when she said she
"I can act on camera".
After missing auditions, Humbe called Chidino while he was watching Black
Leopards and Thanda Zulu Royal FC at Thohoyandou stadium and begged for a
chance. Her mother accompanied her to meet with Chidino. "This young
girl has talent" Chidino said. Humbe also assisted in the news and sound
department of Dzhatsha Films. "I remember at one stage when Humbe was
acting as a reporter's cameraman. I could see that the camera was too heavy for
her to carry but she insisted that she was alright." Chidino joked.
