Policies
POLICIES OF DZHATSHA FILMS
ABOUT ACTORS It is our mission
to unearth talents and make people stars but we do not guarantee that all people
will become movie stars in the end.
No actor will be allowed to act or
appear in our movies without signing agreement contract.
Actors are not allowed to touch
Dzhatsha Films equipment unless requested to do so. Equipment means cameras,
boom mike, etc.
If an actor does not behave
on set the director will report him/her to the Executive Producer who has the
right to dismiss actors not complying with our policies.
Actors are not allowed to bring friends or relatives to the set
without making prior arrangements with the Executive Producer
Taking drugs/alcohol
onto the set is totally unacceptable.
All
actors MUST go through selection process (audition) even if he/she has already
appeared in other movies, internal or external.
Actors may be nervous but must not be intimidated by what other
auditioning people look like and be confident about yourself.
Actors will be paid for appearing in our movies
unless other arrangements are made and agreed to by actors.
Actors MUST listen to the instructions and direction of the
Casting Director and ask if they do not understand how they should carry out a
certain performance.
We all sometimes get
angry, excited, frustrated, confused, etc so actors MUST not take circumstances
personally.
Actors images and photographs
will be used for promotional purposes.
Actors
and wannabe actors should take acting seriously and act like a professional even
if it is your first time. Do not look at the camera.
Acting is about Real Life therefore actors MUST always keep their
performance natural unless directed otherwise.
Actors start to perform when the casting director says ACTION and
only finish/stop when the Director says CUT.
When actors arrive on set they must sign with the Production
Manager. Actors MUST not make noise while on
set.
We shall provide transport and food but
actors may be requested to bring their own food depending on the budget.
No actor shall leave the set before the director
says IT’S A WRAP.
No actor shall miss
scheduled shoot unless he is sick and prove MUST provided in that case.
We will not be held liable for any
expenses, loss or any injury, during your transport to and from the set or while
you are on the set.
Actors are expected to
learn and master their lines.
Actors are not
prohibited from acting in movies other than Dzhatsha Films but the Executive
Producer MUST be informed at least one month before taking such role.
ABOUT THE
CREW Members of the crew MUST report issues to
the Executive Producer.
A camera operator
MUST only operate a camera.
A boom swinger
MUST only take charge of a boom.
A director
MUST only direct actors.
Property master MUST
only take care of Props.
All issues related
to the production should be referred to the Producer or Director who will
escalate to the Executive Producer.
A special
permission will be granted if a member of the crew wishes to perform other tasks
outside his area.
ABOUT MEETING
PROCEDURES All meetings between Dzhatsha
Films and clients have to be requested in writing and MUST include the
following:
Purpose
(Why are you calling the meeting e.g. business or private)
Agenda (What will be discussed)
Time (What time will the meeting be held and for how long.
Meetings with
Dzhatsha should not last for more than an hour unless a special arrangement is
made)
Place (Where will the meeting
held) Date (When will the meeting held)
ABOUT THE SCRIPT
No shoot shall take place before a script is
completed.
No
script shall be acted out before a contract is signed between Dzhatsha
Films and the writer.
Scripts will be
handed out to actors at least one week before shooting commences.
